Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic clinical and service development leadership to the Iqarus Occupational Health Business. This role will require a high level of clinical and operational understanding of the full range of occupational health services and drive service transition to a new digital platform, innovating and proceduralising service delivery at all times.

The role will be a key part of the Onshore Occupational Health Leadership team and contribute proactively to an ongoing culture of clinical excellence and service innovation. With a heavy focus on digitisation and site governance, the role will provide leadership to the Iqarus nursing and technician teams across the UK, working closely with the Medical Director to transform the service provision.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and service leadership for the Onshore Occupational Health Business
  • Proactively review and transform delivery models, driving innovation and digitisation of services in line with the highest clinical standards
  • Manage all relevant clinical procedures, ensuring these are maintained to the required standards
  • Oversee a team of Nurses and Technicians, building a supportive and clinically sound management structure and an engaged workforce
  • Ensure all clinical record keeping and equipment is maintained to the highest standard
  • Ensure all sites are suitably clinically governed and maintain oversight of locations, stock levels and clinical quality
  • Through the team of Senior Nurses, and working with Iqarus Competence Management Team, ensure all nursing and technician staff have in date registrations and training to complete their assigned tasks
  • Actively engage in system development and digitisation process, constantly striving to enhance and streamline delivery models
  • Foster a cooperative and inclusive working environment, enabling productive and clinically lead working relationships across the business
  • Support the business in system transition and onboarding, ensuring staff competency in relevant system requirements
  • Ensure operational and clinical compliance of all clinical services, enabling excellent patient care and data capture for informed clinical and business decision making
  • Input in commercial bids and technical proposals, working with Clinical/ Medical Director to scope requirements and articulate appropriate clinical delivery solutions
  • Provide budget oversight to Head of Onshore Operations, controlling costs and constantly reviewing opportunities for streamlining of service delivery
  • Engage with relevant industry bodies to represent client’s interests, provide thought leadership and support Iqarus’ standing in the market
  • Work closely with other stakeholders to ensure retention of all relevant accreditations and registrations (such as SEQOHS, HIS) and participate in any additional applications required

 

Qualifications

  • Experienced Nurse
  • Experience in managing Occupational Health Services
  • Considerable clinical leadership experience
  • Extensive experience in managing processes and procedures, clinical governance and clinical facilities and supplies
  • Good understanding of clinical management systems, data capture and digitisation of an occupational health service
  • Experience in designing and delivering new occupational health services
  • Experience in successfully managing audit and accreditation processes
  • Proactive and inclusive management approach, striving for high performance and continuous improvement at all times
  • Proactively raising areas for improvement or concern to Head of Onshore Operations or Medical Director
  • Works well at a Senior Level but engages staff across all areas of the business
  • Displays high level of integrity and clinical leadership
  • High level of understanding of clinical technology and data capture
