Job Description

The Emergency Physician is responsible for initiating resuscitation and stabilisation of patients as well as commencing investigations and interventions to diagnose and treat illnesses, whilst working as a multi-disciplined team.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Medicine in accordance .  
  • Physician ully Registered and currently licensed with no restriction to practice in country of origin (EU recognised or equivalent)..
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience after being certified in the specialisation.  
  • Current and experienced PHTLS / TCCC or equivalent.
  • Medical currency and a proven record of working in their specialisation in a hospital setting within the last twelve (12) months prior to deployment to the Mission, demonstrating involvement, on average, at least 3 (three) days a week. 
  • General professional expeditious experience: work in the context of a military role 1/2/3, UN level 1/2/3/4, humanitarian aid, natural disaster sites, post-conflict areas, or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English
