Job Description

Role summary:

The purpose of the role is to provide IT support and administer business applications across the Iqarus Occupational Health division.  The role is responsible for ensuring business applications are maintained and updated per business requirements.  The role reports to the IT Applications Manager and is responsible for collecting feedback from users and working with the wider team to support improvements and development of applications.

Duties and responsibilities:

·       Provision/coordination of support, maintenance, patching and configuration of the applications

·       Support with the collection of requirements for change/developments to systems

·       Support the IT Applications Manager in developing, testing and implementing business applications

·       You will be expected to be familiar with the functionality, administration and security of applications and establish a regime for the effective support and maintenance of these.

·       Support the IT Applications Manager in taking ownership of how the OH division uses the Business Applications and working with the Business leaders to establish and maintain clean data quality, effective user roles and security and appropriate competence.

Qualifications

Experience:

·       Experience in delivering, supporting and maintaining multiple IT applications

·       Design and documentation of application functional requirements

·       Confident with learning and understanding IT applications, both standard and bespoke

Technical Skills:

·       Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies

·       Project & Change Management methodology (desirable but not essential)

·       Ability to design and execute systematic, automated and end-to-end testing (desirable but not essential)

·       Desirable skills and knowledge in current Iqarus applications including (or similar): MS AX, MS SQL, Salesforce, eCW, SharePoint

Soft Skills:

·       Ability to clearly communicate between multiple stakeholders

·       Ability to work with users to gather requirements and work with suppliers to communicate needs

·       Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills

·       Excellent listening and interpersonal skills

·       Good people management skills in both Support and Project environments

·       Excellent communicator with effective presentation skills, both written and verbal   

·       Able to work with individuals from varied backgrounds in multi-cultural environment
