·       The HRM Business Unit is centred around a preventative approach to managing the health and wellbeing of our clients’ workforces and comprises three divisions: Occupational Health; Training & Development and Industrial Hygiene.

·       Global Health Services Business Unit provides intelligent health solutions that enable organisations to operate and grow in the world’s most complex and demanding environments using technology-enabled capabilities at the forefront of prevention and detection of workforce health issues, enhancing health, well-being and performance in a workforce.

Job Description

To deliver a high level of desktop support to the users of Iqarus IT, primarily in the UK. Development of best practice for our Desktop Services across the Iqarus group.

·       To respond to Helpdesk requests and close these out expediently with a solution to the satisfaction of the initiator

·       Building Windows computers to a high level of compliance with established procedures

·       Using Active Directory and Office 365 to create/administer user profiles

·       Support for Windows 7/8.1/10 operating systems

·       Support and optimise desktop peripherals, Video Conferencing and other ICT devices

·       Support VoIP and Mobile phones

·       Occasionally visit Iqarus sites in other parts of the UK

·       Maintain documentation of technical detail relating to desktop equipment and software, including asset tracking

·       To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company quality, safety and HR management systems

·       Monitoring the status of antivirus software alerts

·       Willingness to learn how to support specialist software

Qualifications

·       Have excellent troubleshooting skills when working alone

·       Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop technology and applications

·       Three years’ experience in similar roles

·       Competent at using Microsoft Office software, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.

·       Must have keen attention to detail

·       Strong customer focus with ability to form good working relationships with both end users and colleagues

·       A flexible, enthusiastic, cooperative and confident approach to work and a can do attitude

·       Good communication skills in person, over the phone and via email

·       Willingness to travel to other Iqarus sites in the UK
