Job Description

The purpose of the role is to deliver a comprehensive Occupational Health Nursing Service in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Councils (NMC) Code of Professional Conduct and Scope of Professional Practice (or equivalent). The OHNA will work either within the Iqarus clinic environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team or within a client company workplace.

·         Maintain professional standards in accordance with current legislation and practice including relevant professional registration and continuing professional development.

·         Ensure clinical Occupational Health practices undertaken are in accordance with the Iqarus policies and procedures.

·         Promote the business interests through a professional delivery of service and an awareness of new initiatives within Iqarus.

·         Ensure that line managers are promptly informed of any evolving risks or issues in relation to service delivery.

·         Ensure that thorough clinical case notes are maintained for each patient seen in accordance with local policy.

·         Ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

·         Carry out health surveillance within the Iqarus clinic and at client sites ensuring that all procedures carried out are within scope of HSE legislation.
