Job Description

 

  • Performs laboratory testing
  • Organizes and directs the daily activities of the laboratory.
  • Responsible for supervising laboratory personnel, conducting and overseeing quality assurance and quality control, and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting lab results.
  • Understand and be able to complete laboratory raw data sheets and make accurate entries and reports
  • Reviews quality control and patient results
  • Assist in or perform basic analytical tests from well-defined standards and procedures as required by operational considerations.
  • Performs operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instrument and equipment
  • Maintain all required quality control documents and have documents available for audit at all times.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Trained at internationally recognized learning institution as a multi discipline laboratory technician / biomedical scientist
  • Post-graduate training, and at least 3 years of experience in multi discipline laboratory work
  • Current, valid registration or license to practice in country of origin
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Experience in similar environment
