Job Description

  • Assist the Corporate Medical Director with clinical governance, safety & risk compliance for projects within the Global Health Services (GHS).
  • Evaluate and optimise safety, risk, quality and compliance standards to ensure an outstanding clinical service delivery to all GHS projects.
  • Ensure all medical staff are compliant with government standards, regulation and legislation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement programs and engagement medical staff at each site.
  • Assist with review of clinical reporting, medical delivery, internal and external audits.
  • Active involvement in developing customer relationships and ensuring the clinical delivery meets or exceeds the client’s requirements.
  • Ability to work independently.

Key responsibilities

  • Development of clinical Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standing Medical Protocols (SMP)
  • Review of medical equipment, medical consumables, and medication formularies to ensure the highest quality of medical delivery to clients and patients.
  • Perform clinical, compliance, and safety audits on GHS projects.

Qualifications

  • Must have a master’s degree or above in medically related field.
  • Strong medical knowledge in the clinical operations environment.
  • Previous experience in a Clinical Governance, Compliance and Risk Management role within remote healthcare facilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing safety, risk, quality and compliance.
  • Excellent presentation, organisational, interpersonal, communication, coaching, mentoring and leadership skills.
