Job Description

  • Making the operation room ready for the surgery. Checking and making sure that all operating room equipment is in good condition and functioning properly;
  • Passing instruments, sponging or other items to the surgeon; taking them back after use; preparing sutures, and monitoring the sterile field to ensure that there is no contamination;
  • Observing the patient during a surgical procedure to detect possible complications and/or breaks in sterile technique; furnishing emergency equipment and supplies to prevent fatality;
  • Cleaning or directs the cleaning and sterilization of contaminated instruments, equipment, and supplies; re-sterilizing unused supplies; caring for and stores delicate surgical instruments; cleaning or assists in cleaning operating room areas and caring for and disposing of infectious and soiled linen after the conclusion of each Operation; 
  • Owing to medical equipment (apparatus and instruments) in the Operating Room and take care of their safety and readiness for use;
  • Working with full cooperation with other operating room staff to ensure smooth operations;
  • Storing and delivers to Roll 2 contaminated medical waste to be incinerated; 

Qualifications

  • Graduated at Medical High School with Europe Union recognized Diploma, with at
  • least 5 years working experience in the operating room field.
  • Operational and International Experience. Team worker. Ability to perform activities
  • under stressful conditions.
  • Wide experience in work with different kind of diseases and patients;education/training in Service/Army/Other Government Departments Medical Corpsis highly recommended.
