Job Description
The System Verification Engineer on the Multiport System & Release team is responsible for system-level software verification activities to help ensure the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of our medical products. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including product interaction design, software engineering, systems analysis, human factors, clinical, quality, and regulatory—to define and execute robust data-driven verification workflows. You will develop a deep understanding of the system from both a technical and end-user perspective, and use that insight to identify, investigate, and analyze issues, driving them to resolution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability team environment and demonstrates strong ownership and follow-through.
Essential Job Duties:
- Review, categorize, evaluate, and verify design documentation and requirements.
- Design, develop, and execute test protocols to assess the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of medical robotic systems.
- Design, develop, and execute simulated clinical procedures that reflect real-world use cases to optimize verification and validation coverage.
- Design and implement comprehensive manual and automated test strategies for functional and end-to-end (E2E) user-journey testing.
- Prepare technical reports and data summary documents to support regulatory submissions.
- Analyze test data and system logs to identify nonconformance trends; produce concise executive summaries and recommend corrective actions.
- Observe and collect information from relevant sources to support cross-functional teams with issue triage, debugging, and root-cause problem solving.
Qualifications
Required Education, Skills & Experience
- Experience using computers and computer systems to program medical devices and develop automation scripts/workflows that support product safety and compliance.
- Strong experience in analyzing data or information to support troubleshooting, triaging and providing detailed debug information for expediting issue resolution.
- Ability to drive cross-functional communications, understanding dependencies while also ensuring a tight timeline can be maintained.
- Proactive self-starter with a keen eye for details with focus on end-user experiences and ability to go above and beyond to ensure a high-quality release.
- Continuously learning and advancing skills across multiple areas.
- Experienced in testing complex systems with multiple software and hardware components, preferably including FDA-regulated products.
- BA/BS in Computer Science/ Biomedical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering and/or relevant professional experience.

It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
