Company Description
It started with a simple idea: what if surgery could be less invasive and recovery less painful? Nearly 30 years later, that question still fuels everything we do at Intuitive. As a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive care, our technologies—like the da Vinci surgical system and Ion—have transformed how care is delivered for millions of patients worldwide.
We’re a team of engineers, clinicians, and innovators united by one purpose: to make surgery smarter, safer, and more human. Every day, our work helps care teams perform with greater precision and patients recover faster, improving outcomes around the world.
The problems we solve demand creativity, rigor, and collaboration. The work is challenging, but deeply meaningful—because every improvement we make has the potential to change a life.
If you’re ready to contribute to something bigger than yourself and help transform the future of healthcare, you’ll find your purpose here.
Job Description
Primary Function of Position
As a regional product manager in Digital, you will be a key leader in identifying needs and driving impactful changes that benefit our OUS customers in the development of our Digital Ecosystem. You will work across a broad set of partners including country commercial teams, regional marketing, local customers, and core product development BUs in order to develop well understood needs and whole product solutions.
You will work with cross-functional partners to identify needs; define and guide products through the development process; shape and guide the roadmap; and work with downstream teams for commercialization, evidence, and messaging. Your efforts will not just be limited to a single project/product (e.g., a digital feature) but also include broader ownership to address regional, business procedure, compliance, or market needs.
This is an individual contributor role which will be part of the OUS Expansion digital product management team. However, you will be a singular leader in your region building relationships with key partners and assessing opportunities to ensure the future successfully impact of digital products in region.

Develop a deep understanding of the European, and potentially, other OUS country regions in terms of market dynamics and adoption of MIS/Da Vinci, digital policies and compliance needs (data residency, privacy position, AI/ML views), clinical areas of focus, which then requires engagement with physician/hospital/policy key opinion leaders (KOL), attending applicable conferences and society meetings, and observing customer use of digital products. This will require international travel to multiple countries and the ability to step into a breadth of scenarios from surgical case observation to government/policymaker/administrator meetings.
Identify and navigate complex digital technologies, robotic platforms, clinical markets, or programmatic initiatives that bridge across business units and teams. Pull together teams to develop whole product solutions.
· Capture, refine, and validate user needs with feedback from customers, the commercial team, and country data/privacy/legal teams. Use qualitative and quantitative market research methods and direct customer interviews and observations to develop deep insights.
· Establish design requirements, prioritize design efforts, navigate tradeoffs, and document and communicate design decisions. Be a credible partner who works deeply with product development teams.
· Develop downstream claims and clinical evidence strategies to show programmatic evidence that upstream needs are being met.
Significantly contribute to the product roadmap and lifecycle management in alignment with the portfolio objectives. Develop business justification for recommendations and gain alignment across key stakeholders on project prioritization.
· Collaboratively develop global product commercialization plans and global/regional messaging with global portfolio marketing, regional marketing, and commercial teams.
· Work with product engineering, clinical engineering, competitive insights, and business development teams to evaluate new technologies and prioritize the new business development pipeline.
· Consistently share, uplevel, and influence the broader product management organization on the key insights from various countries so that broader product strategies can become more global aligned, aware, and applicable.
