Job Description

Primary Function of Position:
Lead, develop and implement value-based solutions, key programs that promote measurable and meaningful value for da Vinci surgery amongst surgeons, hospital executives and care team. Intuitive is looking for a commercial leader, experienced in hospital marketing strategy, value messaging and customer analytics to evangelize the country marketing and sales organizations and external customers.

In this customer-facing capacity, this person will partner with global marketing, regional Marketing and Sales organization to strategically align and execute marketing strategies that drive a cohesive surgeon/hospital value story and build customized, data-driven
proof points.

This role also includes people management responsibilities, with direct oversight of a Patient Education Specialist to ensure alignment of patient engagement strategies with broader hospital value messaging.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Lead deep dives into the maturity model with hospital stakeholders (executives, care team, marketing and finance leadership) and customer journey mapping.
• Support development of frameworks and personas for overall
messaging for hospital segments in Taiwan.
• Lead deep dives into the understanding of customer insight and hospital segment perspectives on the clinical and economic value of da Vinci Surgery.
• Understand competition and develop competitive differentiation positioning strategy for messaging in diverse hospital audiences.
• Support the development of hospital audience Key Opinion Leaders to educate others in the value of Intuitive's product offering and ecosystem.
• Build, optimize and scale global Quantify the Impact (QTI) strategies to expose economic and clinical impact, program optimization and market expansion opportunities for key customers including surgeons, hospitals administrators and health system executives.
• Develop and collaborate with executive champions (both international & local) to deliver the partnership value with Intuitive.
• Support & develop dV Program Director, Executive and Peri-Operative KOL speakers with da Vinci Value message presentations within distinguished Hospitals/Health Systems.
• Plan and conduct executive events/sessions for hospital executive audiences.
• Partner with regional marketing partners to implement value messaging and proof points at key conferences, including robotics symposia, executive sessions, epicenter case-observations, booth presence and webinars.
• Partner with Training department to identify and support the development of new training programs to standardize and enhance the ability of the sales force to Quantify the Impact of da Vinci® Surgery and execute business alignment meetings.
• Interface closely with Healthcare Economics, Market Access and Customer Analytics (MACA), Key Account, Finance & Sales Operations (FSO) teams to build hospital value story rooted in clinical/economic evidence.
• work closely with GM/CSD/ASD/KAD and support Key Account project management and BAM preparation.
• Manage and mentor the Patient Education Specialist, providing strategic direction, performance feedback, and professional development support to ensure patient education initiatives are effectively integrated into hospital value programs and aligned with Intuitive’ s mission.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Public Health/Hospital Management/Health Care. MS, MBA, or higher degrees preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of marketing/sales/commercial role experience in a medical surgical device/Pharmacutical company is required.
• Familiarity with health economics / hospital finance fundamental.
• Strong mindset to persist driving intuitive strategy such as maturity model and ecosystem value.
• Proven ability to solve open-ended problems and work cross-functionally to implement initiatives.
• Proven ability to effectively position and message hospital marketing program value and develop strong sales support to drive program adoption.
• Demonstrated ability to work creatively amidst competing priorities to deliver high-impact marketing programs on-time and within budget to support overall marketing strategy and business objectives.
• Entrepreneurial, collaborative, creative thinker with excellent project
management skills and ability to prioritize and plan.
• Strong presence and engagement of others demonstrating sound reasoning and concise communication as a storyteller.
• Executive presence level of personality and character traits needed especially facing hospital executives/administrators/directors experience preferred.
• Superior verbal/written communication and presentation skills, teambuilding, and interpersonal skills to work across multiple constituents.
• Results-driven attitude & a resolve to win.
• Proven record of accomplishment of execution against quarterly and annual plans- A self-starter and a methodical executer.
• Must be well versed in MS Office Suite. Strong in PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel - Up to 40%. Some international travel may be required.
