Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
Expand the utilization of Intuitive Surgical technologies within territory by partnering with customers and internal partners to identify and implement best practices in utilization, training, and optimization of robotic surgery programs. The Manager, Genesis Programs will manage a team of field-based consultants and trainers focused on delivering best practices in successful management of sustainable robotic surgery programs with an emphasis on standardization, efficiency and safety.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Align program goals with regional sales teams and ecosystem stakeholders, collaborating closely with regional leadership to drive results.
- Oversee strategic initiatives within customer accounts across the territory, ensuring successful implementation and measurable impact.
- Educate and empower sales and ecosystem partners on Genesis program best practices to maximize effectiveness and implementation.
- Lead the launch and execution of new Genesis products and solutions, ensuring readiness and successful market adoption.
- Drive strategic cross-functional projects, facilitating collaboration and delivering impactful outcomes.
- Contribute to strategic insights and feedback to marketing, product development, and regulatory teams, supporting cross-functional initiatives and product integration.
- Oversee field support requests related to product corrective actions (CAPA), ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams, fostering continuous growth and capability building.
- Enhance and update internal training programs, ensuring alignment with compliance standards and optimizing onboarding and development.
- Manage and optimize budgets, as well as HR and financial administration for the Genesis team.
- Establish and drive implementation objectives, tracking progress to deliver consistent outcomes.
- Present key performance metrics and milestones at department and executive-level meetings, showcasing program achievements and areas of growth.
- Quantify and report on the impact of Genesis initiatives, including ROI, effectiveness, and key performance indicators.

Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 8 years professional experience with proven expertise in providing training, consulting or service on complex topics and/or technology
- Proven success in a Genesis role or comparable role.
- B.S./B.A. degree preferred or equivalent clinical/medical degree or experience
- Understanding of all Intuitive technology platforms and applications in clinical specialties
- Direct customer interface experience (Managing accounts and customer relationships)
- Proven ability to mentor and develop the skills of others
- Experience with creating and managing a training project/initiative with measurable outcomes
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills
- Fluent in English, French and Dutch required
- Ability to travel up to 70%
