Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

We are looking for a Global Mobility Program Manager to join our Total Rewards team. This person will manage global mobility programs, including relocations, expatriate assignments, immigration processes, and other cross-border employee movements. The Global Mobility Program Manager will partner with teams across HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Tax, and Finance to ensure a smooth experience for employees relocating within the company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Global Mobility Program Administration:

  • Oversee global mobility programs including international assignments, relocations, and permanent transfers.
  • Be the go-to resource for global mobility guidance, assistance, and escalations.
  • Develop strategies to align mobility programs with company goals.
  • Provide training to HR and recruiters on relocation programs and immigration updates.

Immigration & Compliance:

  • Oversee immigration processes for employees moving internationally, ensuring compliance with local laws, visa requirements, and employment regulations.
  • Work with external legal and immigration partners for documentation and approvals.
  • Stay up to date on global immigration and tax regulations.
  • Ensure employees have valid work authorizations in partnership with People Services.

Relocation & Assignment Help:

  • Manage relocation logistics, including housing, schooling, and cultural assistance.
  • Maintain vendor relationships to help employees during assignments.
  • Provide ongoing assistance to employees during their assignment and repatriation.

Cost & Budget Administration:

  • Track global mobility costs and ensure cost-effective solutions, serving as escalation point if exceptions are requested that have financial implications.
  • Manage vendor invoices, contracts, and purchase requisitions.
  • Work with global mobility specialists to prepare cost projections and ensure proper budget tracking.

Policy Oversight:

  • Review global mobility policies to align with the company goals, legal requirements, and market best practices. Assist with vendor RPFs as needed.
  • Advise HR and management teams on policy adjustments.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Keep accurate records of employee assignments and mobility data.
  • Examine trends, costs, and employee satisfaction and suggest improvements.
  • Report on global mobility metrics and performance.

Partnership & Consultation:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, legal, tax, finance) to streamline mobility processes.
  • Act as a consultant to managers and employees, providing guidance on the benefits, challenges, and resources available through global mobility programs.
  • Facilitate quarterly business reviews with global mobility vendors.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in global mobility, international HR, or related areas.
  • In-depth knowledge of global immigration laws, tax compliance, and relocation processes.
  • Skilled in project management, budgeting and vendor management.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-level, confidential, and time-sensitive assignments.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and adaptability in working across different functions and regions.
  • Proficiency in global mobility software, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high growth environments.
  • This role requires working onsite 3 days/week in our Sunnyvale, CA or Peachtree Corners, GA office.

Required Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
