Job Description

Primary Function of Position

This position is responsible for analysis, development, and coordination of all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including, but not limited to daily cycle counts, material transactions, metrics, and documentation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Significant involvement in the entire Cycle Count program.
  • Ability to provide root cause analysis.
  • Responsible for the integrity of all Warehouse and WIP inventories.
  • Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of the job.
  • Identify and communicate processes improvement opportunities.
  • Develop communication relationship across all teams, including Warehouse, Production, Planning, Engineering, Purchasing, Finance and IQC.
  • Adhere to all policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by Inventory Control Supervisor.

Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirement

  • Possesses a minimum of a high school degree or GED.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of Warehouse or Inventory Control professional experience.
  • Strong Excel software skills.
  • Interest and ability to learn multiple software tools including Tableau and SAP. Existing experience is a plus.
  • Intellectually curious and self-motivated.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven track record of good teamwork.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds frequently each day.
  • Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting) is required (at least 25% of hours worked).
