Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
The EU Market Research Manager will conduct Market Intelligence activities in the EU and GD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
In accordance with the budget, timeline and objective defined with the Group manager:
Evaluate market opportunity and risks for Global Distribution markets:
- Gather insights on the market (economics, market size, risks indicators)
- Realize presentations summarizing opportunity and risks at country and region level
- Calculate MRs (Minimum Requirements expected from the distributor) for submission
- Update of the country prioritization matrix for presentation to commercial/financial executives
3rd party management for primary market projects:
- Lead discussions with internal stakeholders to understand and document the business objectives
- Depending upon the selected methods, develops or assists in the development of the research instrument. Designing research questionnaires and moderator guides
- Works closely with vendors ensuring the successful execution of the fieldwork
- Upon completion, reviews the collected data, author’s reports and potentially rework the material
Manage direct surveys in coordination with surgeons societies and/or survey during congress
- Lead discussions with internal stakeholders to understand and document the business objectives
- Depending upon the selected methods, develops or assists in the development of the research instrument. Designing research questionnaires
- Upon completion, reviews the collected data, author’s reports and potentially rework the material
Hospital analytics:
- Collect hospital data
- Map the data: align external hospital names and codes and internal format
- Consolidate hospital level data across geographies; ensure consistency about fields and procedure definitions
- Be able to understand the “big picture”: variance between sources (national/local , declarative/codes) and help during the discussion with local teams
Regional Competitive intelligence support:
- Analyze the information gathered in the internal “post tender” awards surveys.
- Load and analyze the data at account level for competitor installations
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Health Science, Engineering or Data Science
- 8 years of market research/analytical experience
- Experience in medical/healthcare/hospital market
- Quantitative reasoning/application skills and ability to critically think through complexity
- Ability to discern strategic insights from data analysis
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, models building, advanced formulas), Tableau, SFDC
- Ability to leverage PowerPoint to artfully craft a cohesive and impactful narrative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to interact with senior leadership
- Ability to support and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
- Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced organization
- Office based in Aubonne can be localized in a radius of 90 minutes travel time by car (France, Switzerland)
