Primary Function of Position:

The Senior Analyst Global Operations Finance will be accountable for driving the long range manufacturing and gross margin forecast and help provide strategic recommendations for the Global Operations leadership team.  This role will also be the Global Operations Finance main point person on key projects and help with ad hoc analytics.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drive planning, model development and analytics of the long range forecast for Global Operations coordinating with local Finance teams and business managers
• Track and consolidate efforts to improve operational efficiencies across all Global Operations
• Create economic ROI and comparison models to help with key business recommendations for Global Operations senior leadership
• Partner with the Strategic Sourcing and Space Planning teams on global plant planning (space planning, new plant determinations, global plant capacity)
• Establish and track actual/forecast product costs of new products and manufacturing transfers
• Serve as Global Ops Finance representative and SME on IT systems and organizational process improvement projects
• Assist quarterly expense forecast and annual budget planning
• Assist Month-end accounting close as needed
• Ad-hoc analyses and reporting

Skill/Job Requirements:

• A minimum 4-8 years of Corporate or Investment Finance professional experience
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and self-assured with ambiguous challenges
• Exceptional communication and business partnering skills
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and teams, and communicate insight back to senior leadership
• Fast, high quality execution of quantitative work with attention to detail
• Proven track record of fostering team synergy
• Experience with statistical tools and database systems such as SAP, Tableau, and SQL, are a plus
• Must be willing/able to work onsite 3 days/week at our Sunnyvale, CA office

Required Education and Training

• Minimum Degree in Economics, Finance, or related discipline
