Primary Function of Position:

The Sr Manager Services Finance Analytics is the trusted business partner for the Global Services senior leadership team that’s based in US.  He/she leads 3 Sr. Analysts / Analysts to provide finance analytical support to Sr. Director Customer Experience and Service North America, Sr. Director Global Services Innovation & Product Management, as well as Director Product Support.  He/she leads the team to leverage data to provide business partners with world-class decision and analytic support on strategy and initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance / Analytics team to proactively analyze complex business problems, data, or tends.
• Provide strategic, data-driven recommendations that support Services team to be strategically-positioned.
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, and ability to prioritize and communicate / align effectively with the business partners.
• Anticipate future challenges or roadblocks (within the business or team) and prepare for them so team is successful despite headwinds (eg changing business dynamics, moving timelines).
• Develop presentation materials for senior leadership
• Assist to develop and track Global Services OGST (Objectives; Goals; Strategy; Tactics).
• Deliver Services analytic reports / cockpit, including but not limited to:
  • Automated reporting that tracks key KPIs
  • Efficiency metrics
  • Services Cost to Serve
  • Customer Phasing tool
  • FSE hours
• Work closely with Principal Business Analyst that supports Europe based Services Leadership team to establish scalable processes and approaches and to establish a consistent way of analytical reporting across US, Europe and Asia.
• Team design: Design Finance Analytics team’s Roles & Responsibilities (R&R).  Align team’s R&R with Global Services Leadership Team’s partnership needs. 
• Team management: Develop, coach, and train the team to provide world class business insights and business partnership.  Cultivate a highly engaged and self-motivated team.
• Team resource management: allocate resources effectively; determine trade-offs through lens of fundamental building blocks.  Engage team to stay focused and make progress on the Vital Few.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant work experiences; including 3 to 5 years of relevant work experiences on analytics
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinker
• Strong analytical skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to consistently discern strategic insights from data analysis
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and intellectual curiosity.  Proactively look into areas that generates insights
• Demonstrate selfless leadership: consistently putting mission and organization ahead of self.  Dedicated in developing, coaching, and training a team
• Ability to navigate through ambiguous circumstances and seek solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.  Demonstrate ability to present, articulate analysis skillfully and diplomatically with senior leadership
• Desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced organization. Ability to support and prioritize multiple projects 
• This role requires approx. 10-15% travel, mostly within US
• Must be willing/able to work 3 days/week in Sunnyvale, CA office.

Required Education and Training 

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred, ideally in business or analytics field)

Preferred Skills and Experience 

• Advanced Excel skills are required.  Business analytics skills (e.g. Tableau, SQL) a strong plus
