Job Description
Primary Function of Position
- Implement new and enhance existing functionality including articulating requirements and translating them to effective solutions on Salesforce.com and related applications which support the following stakeholders: Field Service, Service Contracts, Technical Support and Customer Support.
Essential Job Duties
- Serve as an Interface Development lead between ERP and satellite systems and SFDC. This includes having a strong knowledge of satellite systems and being able to develop objects in SFDC.
- Implement new and enhance existing functionality including articulating requirements and translating them to effective solutions on Salesforce.com and related applications
- Work with “Center of Excellence” teams to design and develop enhancements on the Salesforce.com platform.
- Having broad expertise or unique knowledge in the area of Field Service, Service Contracts, Telephony Integration, Case Management and Help Desk business processes.
- Interface on a day to day basis with other analysts, super users and IT team members to enhance Salesforce.com platform
- Perform development/system changes to meet business requirements as needed.
- Ensure solution design on Salesforce.com platform integrates well with the integrated systems and coordinate changes accordingly with larger IT team.
- Lead cross-functional meetings as part of requirements gathering, driving projects or providing status updates on various projects
- Facilitate change management and transition to future state working with various stakeholders
- Analyze impact of changes to the corporate application landscape

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of direct “Hands-On” interface development.
- 3-5 years of direct “Hands-On” development with Salesforce.com
- Experience with deep understanding of IT Applications and Technology
- Possess a strong business and customer/client focus.
- Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Very strong collaboration, negotiation, and influence capability required.
- Administer development environment(s)
- Develop custom code (Apex, Force.net, Java, etc..)
- Entity and data mapping for integration process flows
- Use case and unit test plan development.
- Author the Technical Design Specification
- Contribute to key deployment documentation.
- Develop and document regression, as well as use case and unit testing scenarios.
- Define and monitor compliance with code check-in, backup/recovery, and versioning processes Participate in testing and validation of the integration.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer process.
Required Education and Training
- Bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
- SFDC Certification strongly referenced in Development & Administration.
Working Conditions
- On-Site in Sunnyvale 2-3 Days per week.
