Job Description

Primary Function of Position

Intuitive’s People Experience team is passionate about creating a workplace where employees are informed, engaged, and inspired to have a positive impact on each other, our company, and the world.

We’re looking for a communications expert to help us build and implement impactful internal communications programs advancing visibility and community for our innovative product teams around the world. In this role, you will be a strategist and trusted advisor to executives and engineering and quality leaders who bring our products to life and use your exceptional storytelling skills to engage diverse employee populations. The ideal candidate is motivated by our products and mission and thrives in an exciting and complex technology environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as an employee and executive communications strategist and advisor to senior leaders; develop executive and program key messaging aligned with corporate narratives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and internationally to create and implement internal communications plans that engage and connect product design and engineering employees around the globe.
  • Create detailed project plans to successfully lead stakeholders in the execution of a wide range of communications deliverables, working with internal and external partners; own all stages of project delivery, from initiation to execution.
  • Optimize content strategy by building and maintaining strong relationships with internal client partners including marketing, public affairs, social media, employer branding, and other key stakeholders to achieve shared priorities.
  • Measure success and evolve strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Expertise developing and executing internal communication strategies for a global workforce.
  • Substantial experience partnering directly with executives to develop communications strategies and messaging, coach, and influence optimal outcomes.
  • Technical industry experience and comfort working with complex topics (medical technology, software/hardware, engineering, etc.).
  • Ability to think strategically while executing flawlessly on multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex concepts quickly, navigate ambiguity, and creatively solve tough problems.
  • Aptitude for collaborating with international stakeholders located in other time zones.
  • Minimum 12 years of employee communications, executive communications, corporate communications, or related work experience, including agency/contractor management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience.

It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
