Job Description

What happens in your first year?

· Under the guidance of your manager you learn about the company’s processes and play a key role in some of them (i.e. budgeting and forecasting, P&L management, monthly close)

· You analyse financial and commercial data in close liaison with your managers and help to bring those insights into meaningful and actionable recommendations

· You develop and coordinate detailed departmental budgets and monthly reviews and forecasts using Hyperion, Anaplan, Tableau and Excel

· You manage the local P&L, including monthly close, and variance analysis

· You ensure spending remains within budget: review and approve purchase requests, identify risks & opportunities, agree on trade-offs to respect budget commitments

· You manage the goal setting process for all functions under the responsibility of the General Manager, aligned to commercial strategy; develop tracking tools to monitor the progress and pro-actively identify risks and opportunities

· You build on your existing analytical skills and gain further experience in SQL and Tableau

· You are highly valued and recognized by your managers and colleagues for your insights, efficiency and reliability

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field

· 2-4 years of relevant work experience

· Aptitude to learn new tools and systems to support rapid company growth

· Quantitative reasoning/application skills and ability to critically think through complexity

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, building models, advanced formulas)

· Ability to leverage PowerPoint

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

· Ability to support and prioritize multiple projects concurrently

· Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and complex team environment

Optional

· Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related discipline

· Experience within the medical / pharmaceutical environment

· Proficiency with data visualization and/or data query tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics, Acccess, SQL etc.

· Proficiency with ERP tools such as Hyperion and Anaplan
