Job Description
Responsibilities
• Deliver high quality customer-driven software products to market that simplify and solve for current customer needs while building for the future.
• Responsible for initiating and driving the adoption of technology, product and process improvements throughout the software delivery lifecycle
• Provide technical leadership, career development, and management of performance, objectives, and priorities of all reporting staff - Build a high performing, results-oriented organization
• Drive and own the Quality roadmap for your organization
• Develop product expertise and advocate on behalf of the customer
• Drive initiatives to improve testing at all levels & deliver automation to ensure robustness and protect our customer.
• Embrace & implement new ideas that produce outstanding results for our customers.
• Drive adoption of best practices, tools, systems and metrics across the organization
• Create a shared vision of product quality and maintain strong cross-functional relationships / alignment within & across the business units
Qualifications
• Passion for being at the leading edge of technology with a minimum of 16+ years of hands on software development and/or delivery experience
• 7-10+ years technical management experience of software engineering teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven software products with highest quality.
• 5+ years of experience in delivering automation & C2D solutions with open source tools
• Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions, and fostering effective engineering teams.
• Adept at articulating the quality vision and drive change with strong business acumen
• 5+ years of delivery experience with Agile software development methodologies (SAFe is a plus)
• Solid experience in Object-Oriented Design and programming concepts in Java or other language (any other technologies like node.js, Ruby on Rails is a plus).
• Solid understanding of SaaS, technology, industry wide testing tools/services
• Ability to think and act strategically for all stakeholders
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science or any Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience
