Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects related to taking the projects from original concept through final deployment through thought leadership

participates in strategic and operational processes by working with members of the senior management team while ensuring IT initiatives achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future projects

Provide a single point of authority/contact for project and centralized tracking and reporting of projects progress to enable a single consolidated view of planning, scheduling, status, and business benefit

Working with the vested stakeholders, identify, analyze and document requirements for new systems or solutions.

Review and analyze statements of work, in coordination with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring project objectives, acceptance criteria and deliverables are clearly defined

Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and resource plans. Determine critical project interdependencies

Ensure adherence to established project management process, systems development methodology and quality standards for producing project deliverables

Create visibility of project risks and drive appropriate mitigation plans to throughout the project life cycle

Organize and conduct status update meetings during the duration of the project and produce meeting minutes

Effectively build and manage project Budget and Resources

Qualifications

 A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area is required. An advance degree is highly desirable, particularly an MBA, as well as PMP or PgMP certification

 Overall 10 to 12 years of experience with 6 to 8 years of Infrastructure Project Management experience with specific emphasis on Vendor Management, Infrastructure Lifecycle Management (ITIL) governance, Total cost of Ownership and Project Management

 A firm level of proficiency and technical understanding of applications and systems lifecycle is necessary to fulfill the position responsibilities

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus solid organization, presentation and documentation abilities,

 An understanding of project management methodologies and tools accompanied with creativity and innovative thinking to find solutions to complex problems that can balance short and long-term objectives

 Understanding of change management, process improvement and organizational analysis

 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills are required. Proven experience in project leadership, communications at different levels, conflict resolution, planning, organization and management

 Must have strong leadership qualities, be well organized, well informed, capable of leading by influence, and able to achieve desired goals and objectives while maintaining the respect and support of the organization

 Ability to work on complex Infrastructure issues where analysis situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

 Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, including remotely

 Individual must be a proven change leader accustomed to working in a dynamic environment

 Strong business judgment, as well as a thorough understanding of technology and a demonstrated track record of delivering effective solutions and systems across multiple environments

 Global perspective. Accustomed to doing business around the world and comfortable working with professionals with diverse cultural backgrounds
