Job Description

Key Responsibilities  

  • Understand Intricate’s internally developed software modules and how they integrate in client environments (oil & gas industry) including system-to-system interfaces and dataflows  

  • Implement clients into Intricate's full software module suite from beginning to end of projects

  • Work closely with clients to understand project scope, cost, and schedule and able to manage stakeholder expectations while delivering exceptional customer service  

  • Analyze and extract data from large data sets (Excel), and transpose to align with Intricate software requirements

  • Respond to and ensure external and internal requests for support related to Intricate’s software modules are addressed  

  • Work collaboratively with and actively contribute to the overall coordination between design, development, testing, and deployment; identify opportunities for product enhancement  

  • Understand client requests and clearly articulate requirements to client support services or development teams  

  • Develop and deliver user training on software modules  

Qualifications

Qualifications / Experience  

  • 3+ years of direct system/software integration experience

  • System and/or Software Integration Certification or equivalent work experience  

  • Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry with significant field level experience. Must have a strong understanding of oil and gas process flow and equipment found on facility/well sites. 

  • Able to apply field experience to an office environment

  • Strong data analysis skills and be able to analyze data from large data sets

  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel

  • Excellent customer service, problem solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills  

  • Ability to self-direct, problem solve, and confident to make decisions  

  • Excellent prioritization, organization and coordinating skills

  • Post secondary education in a related field is an asset, e.g., computer science, software development, software integration, college diploma in a technical trade (Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, etc.) 

  • Familiarity with Intricate software considered an asset

  • This is primarily an office based role, however, candidates must be willing to travel to client sites (typically within Alberta) up to 10% of the time.
