At Intertec, we are building a modern, AI  cross-platform solution for the veterinary industry. The platform connects veterinarians and pet owners through real time communication, digital workflows, and intelligent tools designed to improve daily clinical operations. The entire platform has been built using a vibe coding approach , fast iteration development methodology where engineers collaborate closely with tools like Gemini, leveraging prompt engineering and AI-assisted coding to move from idea to working feature rapidly.

This internship is designed as an intensive, hands-on engineering experience focused on building and shipping real product features. You will work directly on our live platform used by veterinary professionals.

The goal of this internship is to prepare you for a future role as a full-stack, AI product engineer capable of building scalable cross-platform applications using modern AI-driven workflows.

The Position

As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will work on our cross-platform veterinary platform across mobile (iOS and Android), web, and backend services. You will contribute to the development of real, production-level features, including live chat systems for veterinarians, core platform workflows, and AI-assisted capabilities.

You will operate within a Kanban-based process, actively participate in daily sync meetings, and collaborate closely with product and technical teams to deliver features in short, iterative cycles.

Throughout the internship, you will gain hands-on experience with AI-assisted development using Gemini, apply prompt engineering techniques to accelerate feature implementation, and work within our vibe coding methodology focused on rapid iteration and real user feedback. You will also be exposed to pragmatic architectural decision-making in a fast-moving product environment, learning how to balance speed, scalability, and maintainability in real-world systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of cross-platform features using React Native (iOS, Android, and Web)
• Implement backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Support the implementation and optimization of real-time features (e.g., live chat between veterinarians and clients)
• Work within and further develop our vibe coding methodology
• Apply AI-assisted development tools such as Gemini to accelerate implementation
• Use prompt engineering techniques to improve productivity and automate development workflows

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Basic programming fundamentals in JavaScript / TypeScript
• Basic experience with React Native
• Basic understanding of backend development using Node.js
• Interest in AI-assisted coding and modern development workflows
• Curiosity about prompt engineering and AI-native engineering
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows
• Excellent written and spoken English
