Job Description
Position Summary: The International WELL Building Institute is looking for an individual with a strong interest in health and wellness in the built environment and a passion for collaborating and driving change. This position will report to the Vice President involve a combination project management, administration, and communication activities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain status of team projects and assist Vice President in managing deadlines
- Coordinate team resources to ensure effective allocation of staff time
- Participate in meetings and calls with external parties and providing follow-up communication
- Manage communications between departments of IWBI and partner organizations
- Office administration, including assisting with expense reporting, guest registration, and file management
Qualifications
Candidate Profile & Prerequisites:
- Strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn more and a desire to work in a dynamic, deadline driven team environment
- Exceptional writing skills: detail-oriented, with impeccable attention to accuracy and consistency
- Active communicator: articulate, assertive and confident
- Responsive, quick, and able to quickly change task priorities without loosing track of existing workload
- Experience with project management software or equivalent
Candidate Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Architecture, Building Sciences, Public Health)
- Familiarity with LEED certification process
