Job Description

  • Be willing to participate in all facets of pre-production, production, and post production in support of all ITU Productions both on and off campus
  • Set up and maintain production personnel, pipelines, schedules and timelines
  • Oversee condition, acquisition and maintenance of all production equipment
  • Oversee the complete production process and ensure the projects are operating effectively
  • Manage and assign production projects in respect of time, budget, resources, and risk
  • Provide quality control, improvement and maintenance and archiving plans for video, Web and media projects related to course delivery and marketing
  • Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and administer A/V equipment and infrastructure  for internal and external events
  • Keep up with current trends and technology in the production field
  • Liaise closely with Digital Arts Production, Operations, and Marketing and under the direct supervision of Digital Arts and Operations
  • Apply skills to Web support
  • Be willing to work flexible hours that may include weekends and evenings

Train and supervise student interns to do the following:

  • To assemble, prepare, set up, and strike equipment for filming ITU’s events and activities, which may include; cameras, harnesses, cranes, dollies, tripods, monitors, lighting including; filters, gobos, diffusers and reflector, microphones, sound mixer, video switchers, playback, green screen, cables and leads, and headphones
  • To record ITU’s events and activities
  • To set up lighting in event venues, interviews, documentaries and promotional videos
  • To set up and record video in event venues, interviews, documentaries and promotional videos
  • To set up and record sound in event venues, interviews, documentaries and promotional videos
  • To edit video footage of ITU’s events and activities
  • To take stills for ITU’s events and activities


Qualifications

  • Sound theoretical, practical and technical knowledge of cameras, lights, audio recording and editing
  • The ability to frame and compose shots
  • The ability to perform camera moves accurately
  • Knowledge of lighting setup
  • Knowledge of Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task and take direction from producers and directors.
