Job Description
You'll provide diagnostic radiography and ultrasound services within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment in Doha, Qatar, supporting timely diagnosis, treatment decisions, and patient care. This role combines hands-on imaging with departmental quality and operational support, making it well suited for an experienced technologist who values both clinical practice and program excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform plain film radiography and diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including FAST, RUQ, OB/GYN, testicular, abdominal, vascular, and DVT evaluations that support patient diagnosis, treatment, and referral decisions.
- Position patients appropriately, obtain high-quality diagnostic images, compare prior studies, document findings, and ensure timely transmission of images for consultant radiologist review.
- Collaborate with physicians, consultant radiologists, and interdisciplinary clinical teams, providing written and verbal communication on imaging findings and escalating studies requiring immediate clinical attention.
- Support safe, compliant imaging operations by following established protocols, maintaining radiation safety standards, and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Support imaging department operations through policy development, staff competency initiatives, quality monitoring, equipment planning and maintenance, resource management, and operational reporting.
- Maintain imaging records, diagnostic evaluation reports, patient files, and equipment readiness while supporting efficient workflow and high-quality patient care delivery.

Qualifications
Requirements
- 5+ years of recent practical imaging experience.
- ARRT certification or home-country equivalent required; BLS certification required or must be obtained as provided.
- Experience supporting imaging operations, quality initiatives, and program planning required.
- Experience performing standard radiographic procedures, including portable and OR imaging, with the ability to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Ability to function independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and support quality-focused imaging operations.
- On-call participation required as part of a rotation if needed.
- Unaccompanied assignment; ability to obtain a base security clearance, relocate to Doha, Qatar, and maintain a valid passport throughout the assignment required.
Preferred
- Sonography experience, including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular ultrasound imaging.
- Experience with digital image acquisition, transmission, and teleradiology workflows.
- Experience supporting healthcare services within international, military-connected, government-supported, or operationally complex healthcare environments.
