Job Description
Lead emergency medical response operations within a fast-paced international healthcare environment supporting U.S. government personnel in Iraq. Working alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing teams, and emergency response personnel, this Lead Paramedic role combines hands-on critical care with EMS program oversight, team coordination, and operational leadership across emergency and clinical settings.
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced emergency and critical care professionals while practicing across a broad clinical scope in a highly collaborative international healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily EMS operations, helping coordinate staffing coverage, operational readiness, and emergency response activities across the site.
- Provide advanced pre-hospital and emergency medical care, including patient assessment, stabilization, airway management, medication administration, IV/IO access, cardiac monitoring, and trauma response.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing teams, safety personnel, and operational leadership to support coordinated patient care and emergency preparedness initiatives.
- Oversee paramedic and EMT team activities, supporting training, protocol adherence, clinical guidance, and documentation quality.
- Assist with maintaining EMS protocols, emergency response planning, medical inventory management, and operational compliance standards.
- Support cross-functional clinical operations within clinic, emergency room, and inpatient care environments as needed.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Current U.S. state Paramedic license with National Registry EMT-P or unrestricted equivalent licensure.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; advanced trauma certification such as PHTLS, ITLS, or TCCC required.
- Certification from an accredited Paramedic training program.
- Ability to deliver high-quality emergency care in fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environments.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport
- Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance and meet pre-deployment physical requirements.
Preferred
- Prior leadership or lead paramedic experience within EMS or emergency response operations.
- Previous experience collaborating within multidisciplinary emergency or critical care teams.
