Job Description

Provide comprehensive primary, urgent, and episodic care within a collaborative outpatient clinic environment serving U.S. government personnel in Iraq. Working alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and operational teams, this role supports a broad spectrum of patient care needs ranging from routine clinical services to urgent stabilization and coordinated higher-level care when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care across primary, urgent, and emergency presentations while supporting health promotion, preventive care, and patient education initiatives.
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary teams to support efficient clinic operations and high-quality clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in patient stabilization, emergency response coordination, and medical evacuation planning when higher levels of care are required.
  • Support ongoing clinic leadership activities, including staff oversight, clinical readiness, compliance standards, and participation in emergency preparedness exercises.
  • Manage routine and chronic healthcare needs while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adherence to established care protocols.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current AANP or ANCC certification, or accredited Physician Assistant program with current NCCPA certification.
  • Active unrestricted U.S. NP or PA license with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • 5+ years of recent clinical experience, including direct patient care within the last year.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport
  • Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance and meet pre-deployment physical requirements.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting military, government, or international healthcare environments.
  • Experience practicing in remote, high-acuity, or operational clinical settings.
  • Prior leadership or clinic oversight experience within multidisciplinary care teams.
