Job Description

This position reports directly to the Director and Deputy Director Clinical Operations in the Government Medical Services office, and is responsible for a variety of routine and non-routine administrative and financial duties in such fields as procurement, shipping and receiving, record-keeping, and employee administrative support requiring the exercise of limited independent judgment and initiative in the application of broad company policies, procedures or practices. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Typical duties include general clerical, receptionist and project-based work.  
  • Responsibilities may be unique to a specific function or department such as Clinical Operations, or Healthcare, but are mainly administrative in nature.  
  • Under limited supervision, works within a specialized function to complete tasks in accordance with procedures.  
  • Possesses considerable autonomy in completing projects for immediate supervisor.  
  • Assignments generally include such types of work as preparing complex reports and maintaining complicated records requiring careful selection, classification, or compilation of information from several sources.  
  • Proficient “super user” for Connect Teams, software program that is utilized by PMO for personnel tracking, certifications and time keeping. Training will be provided.  
  • Other duties or tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Experience Required:  

  • Requires ability to perform numerical, statistical, and/or financial analysis. 
  • Applies common sense understanding to execute written or oral instructions. 
  • Required ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients. 
  • The skills acquired for this job are typically acquired through a high school diploma and 3+ years of experience. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and personal credibility. 
  • Collaborative approach working with HR colleagues, cross functionally and among client groups.  
  • Effective listening skills; ability to assess a situation and propose reasonable solutions.

Education Required: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.  

Physical Requirements: 

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. 
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. 
  • May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.  

Other Special Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
  • This position is unaccompanied.
  • Ability to obtain a base security clearance is required. 
  • Must be able to relocate to Qatar for the duration of the contract.
  • A valid passport in Country of Record is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
