Job Description
There is over 4000 Afghan guests present on the CARE-Doha Premises. Among those guests, there are a number who have medical conditions that require more intensive medical care. These individuals are classified as Medically Fragile Individuals (MFI). Their medical care generally requires extensive coordination between the various providers and organizations involved in their immigration pathway. The Care Coordination Manager oversees the Case Management Department and the overall care for complex or medically fragile patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily activities and performance of case management staff, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team capabilities and professional development.
- Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
- Assess team members' performance through regular evaluations and feedback sessions.
- Manage departmental resources, including budgetary considerations, to optimize service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives for the case management department.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures to guide case management practices.
- Work with other departments, stakeholders, and community organizations to enhance service delivery.
- Assess effectiveness of programs and services, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Prepare reports for upper management on case management outcomes, team performance, and operational challenges.
- Coordinate with CARE-Doha and CARE DC staff to obtain comprehensive medical records and history prior to arrival to Hamad International Airport.
- Ensure the CCS guest profile is updated with the latest information on each guest
- Follow up to ensure that appropriate notifications are in place to ensure appropriate appointment scheduling.
- Review and assign proper and timely MFI grading and confirm necessary notifications are distributed.
- Review MFIs weekly and reassess their overall status based upon the latest medical information.
- Attend weekly MFI meetings and provide timely updates to all relevant stakeholders.
- Notify CARE Doha International SOS leadership of any anticipated impact on the onward migration of complex patients and their families.
- Continue to perform clinical duties and roles as responsibilities allow.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare leadership role and clinical experience within the past five (5) years, preferably in a remote site.
- Demonstrated experience in critical thinking and ability to coordinate multiple disciplinary medical teams.
Experience Preferred:
Experience on a military/government site, working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
Education Required:
- Current and unrestricted license from any US State, District of Columbia, US Territory, National Registry or Country of Record to provide healthcare within scope of practice.
- Obtain provided American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Other Special Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
- Ability to obtain a base security clearance.
- Must be able to relocate to Qatar.
- A valid passport is required from Country of Record and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
