Job Description
This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below:
International SOS is looking for an individual who is experienced as a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiology Physician who is fellowship trained in either body imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, or Neuroradiology to provide services to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Orlando VA Healthcare System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing imaging or Musculoskeletal reads, including, but not limited to CT scans, Ultrasounds, and General Radiology (plain films).
- Communication of test results for patient receiving care in accordance with VHA Directive 1088, Communicating Test Results to Providers and Patients.
- Provide consultation with and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for CT, general radiology films, ultrasound, and radiologic procedures for expeditious and clinically appropriate work-up.
- Follow all established medication policies and procedures.
- Provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all emergency department patients.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
- Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology.
- Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Three (3) years of continuous work experience within the last 10 years, including reading CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Diagnostic X-ray Imaging.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Education Required:
- Must have completed a Fellowship in Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal, or Abdominal/GU imaging.
Physical Requirements:
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- May require bending, stooping and lifting to 25 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to relocate to project site for the duration of the contract.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
