Job Description

We are currently searching for a Security Consultant to join our fast growing security team. Security Consultants are responsible for several functions associated with human risk security - from conducting awareness trainings to on-site security audits, through developing internal policies and advising on strategic organizational resilience topics (crisis/risk management).

As an External Consultant you will assist International SOS in providing strategic support to our clients on an occasional project basis when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security trainings and awareness sessions.
  • Develop and deliver, review and update of security policies.
  • Conduct on-site or desktop security management reviews and assessments.
  • Develop and deliver corporate and site-specific escalation plans, and simulation exercises.
  • Support the design, implementation, and operation of security management systems.
  • Assist and support with on-site operational support on ongoing project management and extraordinary situations.
  • Develops and support in the development and enhancement of BCP and CM-related consulting supporting the wider International SOS Group product portfolio.

Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience in people security management and related functions such as risk and crisis management, business continuity and corporate resilience.
  • Project management skills and an ability to translate business requirements into technical security deliverables; flair for translating security requirements into actionable business controls and measures.
  • Undergraduate degree (or relevant professional training) in a field related to security or international relations preferable.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness. Ability to work in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment where collaboration is the norm.
  • Attention to details, attentive and respectful of the principle of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Fluent or excellent English knowledge. French and/or German knowledge is a strong plus.

Further Requirements

  • Availability, both pre-planned and on short notice, for on-the ground deployment (EMEA region).
