Job Description

We are currently looking for a Data Privacy Lead (Healthcare Networks) to join us on a one year fixed term contract to ensure our network legal and privacy agreements remain relevant and up to date in accordance with client contracts and all local rules and regulations. This individual will monitor, review and implement company, national and supra-national privacy and data protection legislation and processes. 

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Continuous review and update of client agreements to reflect changed processes and laws.

  • Keep abreast of all Intl.SOS data protection policies and procedures arranging for roll out with clients; ensure Intl SOS processes and policies reflect requirements.

  • Advise senior leadership, in conjunction with Contracts and Compliance management, on the impact of laws and regulations that might impact the delivery of contractual requirements.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience in Compliance, Data Protection & Legal background in Healthcare, Financial Services or Government

  • Strong data protection & legal background with respect to national and national laws and regulations with respect to data protection and privacy

  • Knowledge of US privacy requirements; HIPAA and Privacy Act of 1974

  • Compliance background

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Able to simplify complex data protection legislation, accurately and timely

  • Compliance and legal “mindset”

  • Bachelor’s degree required with further education or qualifications in legal or data protection

  • English; a second language would be preferable
