Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our team in Brussels to effectively manage our existing government accounts and cross sell/up sell our range of products and services. This will include generating proposals, pricing and contract negotiation across our medical and security service solutions. 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • following our standard renewal process to renew existing business
  • developing an account plan for each key client
  • growing and managing a pipeline of opportunities on our CRM system
  • providing education to designated clients to drive client utilisation 
  • acquiring in-depth knowledge of the market, drivers, products and services
  • mapping out client's operations to enable client engagement through tailored solutions
  • working with the group products team where non-standard solutions should be escalated
  • driving growth of cross border sales through proactive cooperation with other regions
  • acting as the central escalation point for key identified accounts
  • managing the sales pipeline, from the start of engagements with prospects, timely updating any changes
  • managing end-to-end client renewal process and new client set up 
  • on-boarding of new clients including the development of clear operations and billing procedures

Qualifications

  • Experienced Senior Account Manager with proven track record of achievement in account management, sales growth, budgeting and pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Exposure to government services
  • Experience in managing complex multi-year (B2B) service contracts within a government and international organisation
  • Exposure to working in a cross-border engagement sales environment 
  • Experience selling to complex and emerging markets 
  • Working in a matrix culture
  • Educated to University level (or equivalent) 
  • Solid understanding of business practices with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and target orientation
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Adaptable and strong networking skills
  • Able to communicate in both English and French fluently
