Job Description

We are looking for part time talented Polish-speaking doctors to join our team working with the US military service personnel.

This is a field and home based position, living within any of these areas:

Szczecin, Drawsko Pomorskie, Zagan, Swietoszow, Trzebien, Boleslawiec, Poznan and Skwieryyna.

You will be working as a vital member of our medical team responsible for overseeing the delivery of medical operational activities in Poland by providing clear leadership in medical assistance and managed care services to our clients in country. You are acting as the on-site clinical lead in Poland and will manage our local team of nurses. In this role you will be supporting our quality of care initiatives and service delivery as well as working with our Assistance Centres to facilitate medical evacuations and transportation of patients. Domestic travel is required in this role.

Key responsibilities include:-

  • Supporting and providing clinical guidance to our nursing team
  • Building and supporting key relationships with providers and clients
  • Managing medical staffing resourcing and costs related to service delivery requirements
  • Reviewing business and clinical activities in the region
  • Dealing with various case types appropriately
  • Monitoring medical treatments for clients
  • Ensuring operational delivery meets International SOS standards and guidelines
  • Working closely with key internal stakeholders to prioritise provider network development focus, validate medical providers and continually assess the quality of care provided by such providers

Qualifications

You will:-

  • Be a Registered Medical Doctor with a minimum of 5 years’ experience 
  • Hold a full valid registration to practice medicine in Poland 
  • Be fluent in spoken and written Polish and English
  • Have strong leadership and staff management skills within a matrix organisation
  • Be able to manage multiple line manager reports in a structured and consistent manner
  • Be able to effectively balance medical needs with commercial considerations
  • Be computer literate
  • Ideally have management experience in a leadership function
  • Ideally have experience working in a USA/UK/Canadian/Australian or other English speaking healthcare system
  • Ideally have experience working in the Polish healthcare system
