Job Description

The Director of Account Management will be responsible for driving account retention and growth, focusing on the saturation agenda across the existing portfolio base to ensure achievement of revenue and profit targets as determined for the region and team. 

Directly in charge of a team of Account Managers based in Geneva and Zürich, this role will be required to mentor, lead and develop a high caliber team to achieve and exceed sales and client retention targets and report on the achievement of these as part of the Sales Leadership Team. 

The following responsibilities will be critical to the success of this role:

  • The development of account strategies
  • Ensuring renewal budgets are achieved
  • Managing accounts at risk
  • A strong account extension pipeline is built and achieved
  • The recruitment and management of the team and their performance

The Director of Account Management Switzerland needs to drive processes and discipline across Switzerland to ensure high standards are met and to ensure best practice in terms of account engagement for the entire Swiss Account Portfolio.

Qualifications

·         Leadership and people management skills including coaching, change management, motivating and addressing performance.

·         Demonstrated experience as a ‘doer’ and hands on leader.  A team player.

·         Results driven with high passion, drive and motivation.

·         Proven sales skills with well-developed influencing, persuasiveness and negotiating abilities.

·         Evidence of strategic thinking and planning skills, particularly in financial analysis and reporting.

·         Accomplished networking skills both internally and externally to ensure collaboration, teamwork and cooperation within a demanding, culturally diverse and matrix organisation. 

·         Entrepreneurial, comfortable in a dynamic, fast changing, complex and unstructured environment.

·         Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities.

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills.

·         High standards of honesty and integrity – self-discipline and self-motivated.

·         Customer centric.

-         Fluent in English, French & German a big plus.
