Job Description

We are currently recruiting an Account Manager, Yachting on a permanent contract to join our team in Farnborough. The successful candidate will assist Sales Managers to meet or exceed territory sales targets and customer satisfaction targets. The position is responsible for proactively identifying and closing up-selling sales opportunities, renewing existing clients per established territory targets, and responding to client requests in a timely and effective manner to ensure optimal client satisfaction.

  • Proactively coordinate and liaise with other Yachting Account Managers within Europe.
  • Ensure you follow best practice and current company policies.
  • Represent the interests of the Yachting Account Management Team to internal stakeholders.
  • Meet or exceed all assigned Account Management targets.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with use of internal sales automation system, including the maintenance and reporting of client/prospect data.
  • Meet or exceed all minimum required sales activity expectations.  Minimum sales activity expectations are defined by the Managing Director or CEO, MedAire Worldwide and are to be documented in sales automation system.  
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate production of proposals, issuance of contracts and distribution of collateral for assigned territory.
  • Assist in setting up/arranging and/or attending special events (seminars, tradeshows) on an as-needed basis.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely and effective problem resolution for assigned client base. 
  • Remain current in understanding and application of MedAire’s ISO 9001:2008 processes and provide assistance as required in tasks associated with MedAire’s maintaining its ISO certification.   
  • Attend and document sales and professional development training as assigned.
  • Responsible for timely receipt of territory’s accounts receivables, in accordance with company and departmental guidelines.
  • Maintain all client information which may be encountered either directly or indirectly while in the performance of the job in strict confidence in accordance with HIPAA and/or any other pertinent confidentiality regulations. 

Qualifications

Required Work Experience

  • Previous customer service/ account management experience
  • Previous aviation, yachting and/ or medical experience beneficial but not a must have
  • Salesforce system knowledge is preferred but not a must have

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing various software programs (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, including but not limited to, the ability to present to groups and, interpret and summarize complex written materials
  • Demonstrated competency to perform basic mathematical calculations, including but not limited to calculating percentages, rates, and ratios
  • Demonstrated effective problem solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Educated to Degree level (or equivalent)
  • Some National and International travel may be required.
