Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Trainer to join our Chiswick, West London office as a permanent employee. The Operations Trainer assesses, develops and supports the learning and educational needs of internal and external stakeholders through creating and delivering effective training programs, thereby improving the quality of service delivered to the TRICARE Overseas Program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver induction and refresher training as required by the business and staff working remotely. 
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through frequent review of processes aiming for ongoing simplification and deliver training based on these improvements.   
  • Develop and deliver creative training programs for external and internal stakeholders.
  • Determine training needs and requirements for an individual or group  by consultation with managers, conducting training needs analysis, feedback from annual performance appraisals, talking directly with employees, conducting ‘back to the floor’ observations and through other means.
  • Maintain and keep current all course material, guides, manuals, etc. related to roles in the Assistance Center.
  • Work closely within the quality team feedback, client feedback and output of customer journeys to identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Oversee the measurement of learning outcomes and learning solutions to demonstrate continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the eLearning system by ensuring user data is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain on an annual basis detailed records of education and training delivered.
  • Participate actively in the trainer calibration process, both local and globally.
  • Encourage completion of evaluation surveys by all recipients of training activities and act on the evaluation data to improve on delivery.  .
  • Share operational, learning and development best practices within the organisation and L&D Community.
  • Maintain understanding of new trends, educational and training techniques, tools, methods and deploy these as necessary and appropriate.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in designing training and education events.
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques.
  • Sound decision making and organisational skills.
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
