Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Client Services Manager on a permanent contract to join L.E. West (a subsiduary of International SOS) based in Barking, East London. The successful candidate will directly supervise the customer service / Order Desk Executives across the assigned Market Segment to ensure clients’ needs are met with excellent customer service and experience; be responsible for the management and support of VIP clients; implements processes and procedures to support the standardization effort for global order management and support the Sales Director to identify and close new business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sets goals and objectives for staff that support the global order management agenda
  • Provides outstanding customer services to VIP clients and lead by example to promote an excellent customer service culture, including (1) customer focus (2) quality focus (3) timely and effective problem solving (4) accountability and (5) positive attitude
  • Manages the staff directly to ensure quotes and orders are processed according to agreed KPIs and SLAs with the highest level of customer service
  • Interacts with related departments within fulfillment center to ensure customer service and sales issues are resolved
  • Supports the Sales Director on Business development activities providing account management information, market insights and proposing actions to grow the business.
  • Assists with identification of training needs and help to facilitate ongoing training activities for the account management and handling team.
  • Demonstrates proficiency with use of ERP system, including the maintenance and reporting of quotation and order processing data.
  • Meets or exceeds all minimum threshold requirements for sales activity expectations 
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate production of quotations, proposals, and other assigned sales initiatives and opportunities based on the needs of the Group’s Market Segment leaders.
  • Documents all process and procedures for quote creation and order management function up to the point of order release to the warehouse.
  • Maintains all client information which may be encountered either directly or indirectly while in the  performance of the job in strict confidence in accordance with HIPAA and/or any other pertinent confidentiality regulations.
  • Assists with interview process, performance management, and development of assigned staff
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 

Required Skills and Work Experience

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in demanding customer services roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication & client engagement skills including but not limited to, the ability to present to groups and, interpret and summarize complex written materials
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills
  • Business acumen and deep knowledge of the assigned Market Segment
  • Demonstrated competency to perform basic mathematical calculations, including but not limited to calculating percentages, rates, and ratios
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing various software programs (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
  • Previous experience managing a group of customer service and/or inside sales function in a transactional setting
