Job Description

International SOS is looking for motivated individuals who are interested in an administrational type role as an Authorisation Executive to be based at the flagship office in Chiswick, West London. The role is target driven and requires a very high level of attention to detail. This would suit someone who enjoys administrative tasks, who can work as a team in order to achieve an end goal.

The team that you will be joining is called TRICARE and is contracted to provide health care support services to the Department of Defence (DoD) to half a million beneficiaries (soldiers and their families) living overseas (outside of the United States). You will be processing authorisations in order for our clients to receive healthcare support. We need to ensure we work quickly and accurately.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Process authorisation letters in accordance with the contractual agreements using the case management system
  • Review beneficiary requests to ensure care is covered by the policy manual
  • Inbox management and correspondence
  • Make appointments with Host Nation Providers (HNP’s) at the request of the beneficiary
  • Provide empathetic, quality service to the beneficiaries and the Medical Treatment Facilities (hospitals for instance)
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and/or client information
  • Attend and participates in International SOS staff meetings and educational offerings

Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Excellent written and oral English, conversational language skills in German a plus
  • Experience of working in an administrative environment within a customer services and/or transactional capacity
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload
