We are currently seeking to hire a native Chinese speaking Security Director to drive security service business development and delivery of all security service solutions in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) with a particular focus on driving forward the revenue growth of our Chinese clients. The role will have a strong focus on the coordination of business development support to the International SOS and Control Risks distribution channels in EMEA in close coordination with the China security and sales teams. A significant element of the role’s commercial responsibilities will be given to coordination/ delivery of consulting and training, and other expanded security services in EMEA. Given the high tempo of security operations in EMEA it is envisaged that at least 10% of the effort will be given to supporting the Regional Security Centre’s (RSC) operational activity, specifically supporting the Security Directors Operations and Regional Security Managers Operations (in both Dubai & London RSCs), including the potential to deploy as part of an operational Incident Management Team across the wider EMEA region. 10% of the role’s available effort will also be devoted to inter-regional & intra-regional change management and innovation projects particularly in the product development space for Chinese clients.

Required Qualifications 

• Undergraduate degree (or relevant professional training) in a field related to security or international relations studies.
• Accredited as a Certified Protection Professional by the American Society of Industrial Security or similar industry body

Required Work Experience 

• International (security) work experience
• Business development, consultancy and sales experience
• Extensive experience within the region, including relevant language skills and work experience
• Experience in security operations management: in military, government (officer or senior NCO), or private sector roles
• Experience in the planning, development and delivery of training
• Commercial consulting experience ideally in training, security consulting or related disciplines (1-3 years)

Required Languages

•  Native level spoken and written Chinese
•  Excellent spoken and written English Language

• Travel dependant on business needs.
• Initial induction followed by regular training and commercial
