Job Description

We are looking for a Key Account Manager for Belgium & Luxembourg on a permanent contract based in Brussels. The successful candidate will manage our partnerships with our clients in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively managing a predefined list of existing accounts to ensure that our (often longstanding) partnerships are continued.
  • Cross selling and up selling the range of products and services available to the predefined list of existing accounts.
  • Generating proposals, pricing and contract negotiation across all solutions as per guidelines and assigned clients or prospects.
  • Providing consistent administrative support to the Sales and Marketing Department in relation to the client renewal process, onboarding of clients and client reporting.
  • In conjunction with Operations, investigating and preparing draft responses to complaints handling and quality assurance events.
  • Interfacing effectively with the Sales and Marketing, Operations, Billing, Commercial Desk and IT teams to develop and maintain strong working relationships to support the efficient and effective management of clients.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Educated to Hogeschool or University level, you are fluent in Dutch, French & English and have a significant experience in a Key Account Management role.
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch, French and English fluently (oral and written) an absolute must
  • Direct B2B consultative selling experience, with ideally a good knowledge of the insurance sector
  • Previous working experience in a cross-border / international sales environment or abroad is a big advantage
  • Well developed influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to motivate and influence clients and the drive to close sales. Strong relationship building skills
  • Self starter, able to work autonomously and within a small team to deliver results.
  • Excellent time management, in a high-pressure environment.
