    Job Description

    Candidates must live within commutable distance of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN.  No relocation is available.

    The purpose of this position is to provide data analytics for multiple areas of the company on stores and operational information by pulling and analyzing information from several data sources and creating reports that are accurate and simple to interpret.

    Essential Functions:

    Data/Information Reporting/Tracking:

    • Develop business reporting and tracking solutions designed to assist operations teams and other cross-functional teams with critical business decisions using statistical and database software such as Power BI and Smartsheets.

    Reporting:

    • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational metrics, tools, reporting and presentations.   Establish statistically significant models to improve business performance.

    Queries:

    • Perform queries as requested by Operations field or CSS staff

    Other duties:

    • Identify and create department process improvements.
    • Train other CSS members to ensure correct usage and analysis.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications

    Education and Qualifications:

    • B.A. or B.S. Degree in Business Management or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
    • Strong financial analysis skills. Must have 5+ years of increasingly responsible experience conducting financial data analysis and reporting using Smartsheet, Power BI, Excel, or Access preferably with operations analysis and formula writing experience
    • Experience working within a franchisor organization, preferably a QSR brand is preferred. QSR Operations experience is also a plus. Strong knowledge and familiarity with the Restaurant or Distribution Industry highly preferred.
    • Strong demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Strong ability to collaborate in a team environment Demonstrated ability to be a team leader, liaising effectively with colleagues in various other company departments, driving problems to resolution in an efficient yet collaborative manner.
    • Demonstrated ability to be forward-thinking and to propose/drive improvements in processes, reporting, and analytics.
    • Demonstrated ability to proactively and independently:
    • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously, within a deadline-driven environment.
    • Identify problems, gather relevant information and input from others, and offer realistic solutions.  Use time efficiently, concentrating efforts on important priorities.
    • Take the initiative to find solutions quickly and effectively.
    • Plan to achieve results, break down work into steps; anticipate problems, and evaluate results.
    • Well organized with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strives to provide timely responses and solutions to Ops leaders and staff, and vendor problems, keeping them informed through resolution.  Gathers feedback on programs and uses it for improvements and to adjust service. Follows through on feedback.

    Work Environment

    Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 2 collaboration days a week.  Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs.  Positions will be identified as “remote eligible” when consideration will be given to candidates outside of drivable distance to our Bloomington office.
