Job Description

In the role as EPOS Administrator, effectively oversee the configuration, data cross referencing, process creation, performance analysis, and user support for new Electronic Point-of-Sale (EPOS) system and associated software applications.  Excellent customer service is key, operational quality is vital and a continuous mindsight of improvement is pivotal.       

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Administration & Support: Gather, document and address requests and incidents from corporate team members, franchisees and vendors.  Escalate issues to management or vendor support, where needed. Perform data entry and reporting functions against the gathered data.  Track time spent on support.
  • Content Management: Ensure the EPOS and Back Office Applications are implemented by effectively communicating, educating and working alongside various content owners and subject matter experts.  Create, develop, and manage content per content schedule, as needed. Manage and track the expansion of new EPOS Pilot locations, including contract collection, vendor account setup, store communications and training event coordination. 
  • Quality & Performance: Track and report on development progress and ongoing maintenance required.  Gather feedback from corporate team members, franchisees and vendors.  Monitor application performance, set alerts and enact notifications based on pre-defined thresholds. 
  • Continuous Refinement: Stay informed and educate stakeholders as to upcoming platform capabilities and feature sets.  Continually look for improvement opportunities which will enhance the EPOS platform.  Document processes needed to support platform long term.
  • Communication: Assist in tracking communications sent to program mailbox.  Group common questions into FAQs or support / development needs.  Responds to general requests while escalating technical needs to appropriate functional leader. Respond to correspondence from franchisees, operators and others on a timely basis.

 

 

Qualifications

Education and Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree in IS, IT or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 3+ years of Retail Technology, POS Administrator or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of Business Analysis and/or Quality Assurance experience in a Technology Department collaboratively working with business partners, technical teams and vendors
  • Proven ability to effectively and efficiently create, proof and manage content for a platform(s)
  • Proven ability to professionally document and effectively educate users 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem solving and customer service skills in a matrix-structured setting
  • Very strong experience in Photoshop and Microsoft Office products: Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
