    Job Description

    International Dairy Queen is seek a contractor (minimum 3 months) to work as an Associate Manager of our Distribution and Supply Chain in Mexico.  This part-time role (approximately 30 hours/week)  will support the distribution and supply functions in Mexico and work closely with the Mexico team to support a variety of activities.  

    Key Accountabilities Include:

    Distribution Management

    Daily Activities at 3PL Partner warehouse:

    • Review Orders that dispatched from 3PL Partner Warehouses – KPI monitoring
    • Manage and monitor inventory positions at 3PL Partner Warehouses Inventory Report
    • Manage promo ingredient re-orders and allocations, as necessary
    • Review system wide inventories and make necessary business recommendations to manager to ensure uninterrupted supply
    • Review shortage report and take advise of corrective action needed
    • Follow-up on redeliveries to ensure matters were addressed
    • Communicate all open issues and actions plans to manager
    • Follow-up with manager to verify resolution to all matters

    Supplier Management/Cross-functional Support

    • Meet with manager to address supply chain issues; develop and implement corrective action plans.
    • Support flawless execution of Marketing (regular and LTO’s) calendars

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Prior experience in Supply Chain, foodservice supply chain preferred 
    • Experience working within a franchisor organization, preferred
    • Knowledge and familiarity with the foodservice and distribution/supply industry, preferred
    • Written and conversational fluency in both English and Spanish
    • Relationship building skills with the ability to create mutually beneficial relationships with and provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients
    • Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate Supply Chain concepts to a variety of audiences
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Well organized with a high attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously, within an intense, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
    • Variable work hours at the Distribution Center to coincide with distribution activities.
