Job Description

The Logistics Assistant supports the Logistics team in Manila by handling and following up on requests and carrying out simple procurement activities while ensuring compliance with ICRC procedures.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handles orders received and ensures timely and accurate treatment in the ICRC's Logistics system.
  • Follows up on requests and provides feedback to requesters on their order status.
  • Purchases goods and services, including walk-in requests, up to a certain financial threshold.
  • Performs filing and archiving of documents.

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • At least one year experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing or Logistics (Fresh graduates may be considered depending on their profile)
  • Very good computer literacy (Word, Excel)
  • Very good command of written and spoken English.
  • Preferably knows how to drive both light vehicle & motorcycle.
