While INTERLINK’s headquarters will remain in Hillsboro, Oregon, CancerCARE is opening clinical hubs/satellite offices in both Omaha, Nebraska and Dallas, Texas. 

Job Description

This is a full-time RN position working from the Dallas CancerCARE satellite office, which plans to open Q2 2021.  CancerCARE is looking for an experience executive RN with management experience  who wants to recruit fellow nurses.  There will be some travel between offices in Portland, Omaha, and Dallas for this position as we recruit and train in all three markets.   With rapid expansion expected, this nurse will manage the Dallas area office and will be recruiting and training Nurses and triage staff.  Focused recruiting would occur in the Omaha, Portland, and Dallas metropolitan areas, but some national recruiting would be necessary to meet CancerCARE’s rapidly expanding nursing needs.

This nurse will also become the Dallas area Director of Nurses who will oversee the operation of the regional satellite office.   This opportunity can be exciting for a nurse executive who enjoys interviewing, finding great team members, likes training and building cohesive teams.                  

Core Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Communicate with the VP of CancerCARE Quality Programs and CMO regarding nursing needs and projections while creating and recording an action plan for recruitment.
  • Provide screening interviews initially and present candidates to the VP and CMO for final selection.   Over time, perhaps will make final selections as well.
  • Coordinate travel and lodging for new nurses traveling to satellite offices for training.
  • Join Nursing Associations in the states of Nebraska, Oregon and Texas and participate in those organizations in a networking, marketing, and recruiting fashion.
  • Represent INTERLINK/CancerCARE in any National nursing association meetings.
  • Create an online recruiting program in Linkedin and other online platforms to recruit nurses to work in the regional satellite offices.
  • As a preceptor, you will utilize already created training guidelines to train nurses and support staff in the Dallas hub where he/she is based along with coordinating best practices and unify the training efforts company-wide.  
  • The Nurse Recruiter will also recruit Intake Coordinators, Medical Records and Administrative staff to round out our three offices. 
  • Develop an ongoing education program for nurses with the VP of CancerCARE Quality Programs and CMO to ensure CancerCARE is providing the highest level of support for all our staff.
  • Coordinate staffing and equipment needs with the Operations Team based in Portland.

 Education and Experience:                            

  • A valid RN license
  • Experience with recruiting and training required.  
  • Experience and knowledge of the case management process.

Supervision:

Report to VP of CancerCARE Quality Programs and CMO.
