Job Description

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to add to our team. The Mechanical Engineer will work on all product stages of mechanical production from research and development to design and manufacture, through installation, testing, and final commission of mechanical equipment and devices of innovation and excellence.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work with a team of design engineers to design and validate mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by decomposing high level requirements, generating product specifications, and designing components.
  • Use computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product.
  • Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, stress/structural analysis, machine elements, and materials.
  • Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration.
  • Ensure system and product quality by designing and conducting testing methods, and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
  • Generate test reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing test data and trends.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 1 year of mechanical engineering experience are required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the design and testing of heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, turbines, fans, valves, manifolds, ducts, and heaters in ana aerospace environment.
