Job Description
At People & Culture (P&C), our ambition is to create meaningful value and contribute to business growth in an increasingly dynamic and challenging environment.
As a People & Culture Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering a great and consistent employee experience. You will support the local implementation and execution of global P&C processes and ways of working while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
As a functional expert, provide solutions and execution in one or more of the following P&C fields: P&C systems and database, payroll, compensation and benefits, hiring/exit processes and relocation, personnel administration, internal and external audit, Labor law and Work environment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the administration of the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, including payroll administration
- Acting as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related administrative matters
- Contributing to the continuous improvement, implementation, and evaluation of our digital P&C systems, processes, and internal solutions
- Preparing HR reports, analyses, and statistics
- Supporting accounting reconciliations and related administrative tasks in close collaboration with the accounting team
- Participating in local and global People & Culture projects
- Serving as the contact person for external partners, such as pension providers, insurance companies, and public authorities
- Act as a cultural role model in ways that demonstrate the IKEA values
- Support relevant areas of expertise with the business and people strategies in mind
- Build trust and relationships
- Communicate in a clear and effective way, ability to transfer knowledge

Qualifications
What You Bring
- Expert knowledge of relevant HR processes and tools based on local needs; knowledge of local employment legislations, co-worker relations and labor market situations and trends
- Excellent communication skills in English and local language, both written and spoken.
- We believe in lifelong learning. Ideally, you have several years of experience in HR administration and are motivated to further develop your expertise.
- Previous exposure to digitalization initiatives, HR systems, or process improvement projects is an advantage. Alternatively, you have a strong interest in developing these skills.
- A genuine interest in home furnishing, the IKEA brand, and the opportunity to work in line with IKEA's culture and values.
- Passion about people and a strong belief in individuals’ potential
About You
You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical in your approach to work. You have a strong interest in digital solutions, a proactive follow-up mindset, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
